Significant Possession - Pink

The object that my mind skipped to when we were told what to write about was something that I have treasured for a long time now. My cuddly bunny rabbit I got when I was about a couple of months old. When I received her at first I had already got a bunny from the same collection, a blue one I had been given previously. His name is Blue. But for some funny reason I didn’t get attached to him. I became attached to the pink bunny rabbit. Her name is Pink. She has been there through the highs and lows of my life and to be frank she has had some harsh moments of her own. Mainly that I used to swing her about and chasing clouds in the gardens of the various houses that we have lived in.
She has been my comforter since I was born and now she is practically in tatters because of it. There is patch of missing fur on her back and a hole in her ear where the stitching has been broken. The stuffing in her neck has come out and it is all floppy. The same has happened on her feet as well. I used to never be able to get to sleep without her and although I have grown up she still sits on my pillow waiting for me to fall into the bed.
Pink was there when I ran up to my room crying to comfort me and make me feel better. Compared to Blue sixteen years on she is a lot smaller (due to the lack of stuffing now) but I still love her. Meanwhile Blue is in the bottom of a drawer with some other cuddly toys still the same size he was when I got him. I think that it is the reason why Pink is the most significant of my possessions; she has been with me through all of the events of my life so far.

I like the way you've used personification "she has had some harsh moments of her own".
I also like the way you've told us the story of her life.

You could've left the reader to guess what the oject was by giving clues in your writing :)
